Our items are made from full grain aniline dyed leather which means no pigment is used to conceal natural defects in the leather and tanned using vegetable extracts, which gives the leather a full hand and the ability to age gracefully. Anthony Edward is deliberately using leather, which has been through as few chemical processes as possible in accordance with Registration, Evaluation, Authorization, and Restriction of Chemicals (REACH) http://ec.europa.eu/environment/chemicals/reach/reach_en.htm
Anthony Edward uses the entire grain of the hide, preserving as much of the material’s strength and character as possible. Anthony Edward chooses the limited number of select hides that pass our quality inspection processes. HOW TO CARE FOR MY ANTHONY EDWARD PRODUCTS?
Just like all long-lasting luxury products, Anthony Edward leather goods need care to age gracefully.
To ensure many years of service and beauty, we recommend polishing your product with wax or leather balm. The leather will be softer and retain the luster it deserves.
WHAT DOES FULL GRAIN MEAN?
Full Grain refers to where on the cow’s hide the leather was made from. Specifically, what layer it is. Cowhide can be made into leather that is up to 1/2 inch thick. Full Grain is the uppermost layer. The closer you get to the surface layer of the leather (the part that faced storms, barbed wire fences, rocks and hail), the tougher it is.
Leather is basically trillions of interwoven fibers. Those fibers are smaller and extremely densely packed at the surface and they get looser and looser the deeper down you go. Full Grain is the top layer, the strongest and the most durable cut you can buy.
MY PRODUCT HAS A MARK ON IT?
This is quite possible, markings, scars, bug bites, and ranch brands are actually a testament to the authenticity of Full Grain Leather. Since Full Grain leather is the uppermost layer of the cow’s hide, it was exposed to the elements during the cow’s lifetime. Whatever scars the cow received will be evident on the leather. Typically, these markings are very small and some might say they add character and personality to the piece.
No marking will ever degrade the quality and longevity of the piece. Most people are only used to seeing ‘perfect’ looking leather goods that are mass produced. There are two reasons for this. One, the manufacturer is using ‘Top Grain’ leather, which is basically leather that has had the top layer sanded off to remove any markings (this significantly degrades the durability).
Or two, they are using ‘Genuine’ or ‘Bonded’ leather, which is a very low grade of leather and comes from a low layer of the hide that is basically a waste product. Bonded leather similarly is ground up leather pressed into sheets using glue and wont retain any natural markings at all.
HOW WILL MY ANTHONY EDWARD PRODUCT AGE?
Vegetable Tanned leather is the only type of leather that looks even better as it ages. This type of leather will absorb sun rays, oils from your skin, rubbing in your pocket and every surface that it touches. Over time a unique and dark ‘patina’ will continue to develop.
WHERE ARE YOUR PRODUCTS MADE?
All of our products are made in our factory located in Chennai, India. This factory was opened with funding from the Swedish International Development Cooperation Agency, and is specialized in high-end leather.
The factory is a family business, run by Noor, he’s wife Anjum and Noor´s brother Zafarul. It employs about 140 people and over 30 % of their production output is for Anthony Edward.
DO YOU OFFER FREE DELIVERY?
Anthony Edward offers free delivery and return for all purchases. All orders are shipped from Stockholm, Sweden with the transport companies (and their partners) that AE has agreements with. No free return or exchange right applies to products that are discounted or have been on sale. Orders are usually shipped on the next working day after the purchase is made and your order will be delivered to your door or nearest post office or sub-post office within 3–5 working days in Europe, 3-8 working days worldwide.

CAN I CHANGE MY ORDER?
Once an order has been made, we are unable to change the ordered products or quantity. In such cases, we suggest that you contact us in order to cancel the incorrect order. You can then make a new order via our website, with the correct products and quantity.
CAN I CHANGE MY DELIVERY ADDRESS?
If you want to change your delivery address, contact us right away and we will do our best to help you with this. If we are not able to change your delivery address in our system, which is usually the case if your order has already been packaged and dispatched from our warehouse, then we are unfortunately unable to change the address within Sweden once the package is on its way to you..
HAS MY ORDER GONE THROUGH PROPERLY?
In order to offer our customers the highest possible level of security, each order passes through several control stages. If the order is approved, an order confirmation will be sent to the email address that you gave when checking out. Contact us if you have not received an order confirmation and we will help you with this.
WHY HAVE I NOT RECEIVED AN ORDER CONFIRMATION EMAIL?
Once an order has been made, checked and approved, you will receive an automatic order confirmation email. If you do not receive an order confirmation email, we recommend that you get in touch with us so that we can investigate. It might be the case that your order has failed. It is also possible that the email address you provided us with is incorrect.
MY ORDER IS SENT OUTSIDE OF THE EU
All prices displayed on Anthony Edward’s website (www.anthonyedward.com) include VAT in accordance with applicable law. If an order is to be sent to a delivery address outside of the EU, VAT will be deducted from the price on the payment page. Note that if an order is sent to a country outside of the EU, import duties and taxes may be applied, which will be charged once the item has reached your delivery address. You are responsible for the payment of such import duties and taxes. It should be noted that Anthony Edward does not have any control over these charges, and because such charges vary from country to country, Anthony Edward cannot predict how much they will be. Anthony Edward recommends that you contact your local customs office for further information.
HOW DO I CANCEL MY ORDER?
Please contact us right away if you would like to cancel your order. If we are not able to cancel your order directly, which may be the case if the item has already been packaged and shipped from our warehouse, then it will of course be possible for you to return your order to us. In the case that your order is delivered to a post office or sub-post office, you can ask this office to return the item to us at no extra cost. Only once the package has been returned to our warehouse will we be able to make a repurchase. Cancellations do not apply to personalized products such as; monogramming, initials or equivalent.
